Welcome Aboard the web site of the Atlanta Metropolitan Council of the Navy League of the United States.  The Navy League’s mission translates into four goals: 

Educate national leaders and the citizen of the United States that our national defense and economic well being are dependent upon strong sea services

Support the men and women of the sea services 

 Provide assistance to the sea service families

Support Youth Programs

 We are committed to support of the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Marine Corps, the U.S. Coast Guard, and the U.S. Merchant Marine in the Atlanta metropolitan region, specifically we support:

45 High School -NJROTC and MCJROTC units, 7 Naval Sea Cadet Units, and  NROTC units at Georgia Tech and Moorehouse  College.

We also support USS Jimmy Carter (SSN-23), USS Georgia (SSGN-729), and various recognition programs for sailors at the Naval Recruiting District Atlanta, and Navy Operations Support Center Atlanta..  Please explore our web site to learn more. 

Although our membership includes many veterans, we are not exclusively a veteran’s organization.  Our members include citizens from all walks of life that advocate national pride, a strong national defense and support for the sea services.  We welcome your interest in and invite you to join our organization.
