President Frank Campbell
 As our 2011 council year comes to a close, I wish to thank everyone who participated in our activities throughout the year. It has indeed been rewarding to work with all of you who have volunteered your time and talents to support our sea services and to improve our Council. Congratulations on another banner year and your achievement of the Outstanding Council Award for 2010.
As of December, eighteen new council members have joined our ranks. Welcome aboard! Please continue to seek others in your workplace and community who are potential candidates for Navy League membership. In the shadow of major military cutbacks and the economy, the Maritime services need our support more than ever.
We begin 2012 with a new sense of purpose and fresh new faces on our board. Please continue to support our newly elected officers and get involved with a committee or volunteer opportunity. Plan to join us for our Installation Dinner on Tuesday, January 10th and Board Training with Mr. Bill Waylett on 13-14 January. All are welcome.
As I turn over the reins of the Council Presidency, I hope I have left the council a better organization. I will continue to support the new leadership in achieving even greater success for 2012 and beyond.
